Talent show

Our children love to put on shows for us quite often. From theater plays to music to dancing shows they are all great and the best part is that they make up every detail. It takes them a lot of preparation but they enjoy it and it gives them hours of play time while they finish every aspect of the show. We also love seeing them having so much fun and of course they know there is no better audience than mom and dad. These truly are the best years of childhood.

Mother's Day

I love my family tremendously! I have been blessed with many people who surround me with love and affection daily. I love that I get to hear the words: Mommy, I Love You, You are Beautiful, I Love You Cutie and many more wonderful words every day, not just for special occasions. I just hope that I show and give to all my loved ones as much love back as I receive.

School carnival in April

We love our neighborhood not just because the school is within walking distance, same with the park ,trail, lake etc...but also because we know everyone. The school carnival is always a big event that we enjoy attending as a family. As always the kids have fun playing  tons of games and eating too many treats.

20 lbs off

After having Michael I found it really hard to get on the treadmill and exercise. I just wanted a fast way to lose the pounds left from the pregnacy. One of my friends told me about HCG drops and how much weight you can loose in just a few weeks. After I researched the product I gave it a try for 3 weeks and I lost 17 pounds. Since then I have lost 3 more without the drops and have been able to maintain the 20lbs off for more than four months. I really like the weight that I am at but I feel that I need more energy. I know I have to add more exercise into my life in order to increase my energy level. If this weather will cool off any time soon I might feel motivated to start running again.

Natural history museum

What else have we done in April? Well, lot's of things but one that was worth mentioning was going to the museum with grandma (buni Lengyel). We love spending time with her!

Walk With Christ

Walk With Christ was an activity that we were able to attend with my parents in April. We traveled through different rooms at church, each portraying a different event that gave us a better understanding of Christ's life.  It was a great experience for our entire family.

I am sorry the pictures are blurry, they were taken with my phone and I have to say they are not doing justice to how beautiful each room really was.

Easter

This year for Easter we had grandma (buni Gaby) and grandpa (bunicu Dodo) Lengyel at our home. It was wonderful! They arrived at the end of March and by the time April came we were ready with the the menu for the most delicious traditional Romanian dishes that I grew up with. Not only were the appetizers and the main course finger licking good but also the deserts were amazing. Fresh flowers and beautiful painted eggs added to the beauty of the table on Easter morning. The children enjoyed the Easter egg hunt with daddy, buni Gaby and bunicu Dodo after church in our own back yard. Their baskets were full of chocolate eggs and chocolate bunnies within minutes and it did not take long for them to start eating them. That evening we also got to Skype and wish Happy Easter to the rest of my family in Spain. It sure was a special Easter that brought back many memories. Even better I was able to see the joy in my childrens eyes and add that to the wonderful memories that I will cherish forever.

Nature Center

We love having the nature center just few minutes away from our house. It's always such a fun place to go and visit/play when the weather does not allow us to play outside. Here are some more pics taken in the spring.

After the eggs have soaked for a while, the children will remove the shells and notice the tie-dye look on the egg. We will discuss that dinosaurs hatched from eggs but they were a lot bigger than these .
